Phoenix Activities – Golf and more
Are you an avid golfer? Are you planning a vacation to the Phoenix, Arizona region? Then it will be a perfect vacation as Phoenix and the surrounding area are home to some of the best golf courses in the nation. Even the “adequate” rated courses are good, and considered to be much nicer than an average course in other parts of the country. Don’t forget the perfect weather that makes picking up your clubs possible at just about any time of the year.
The fact an award-winning course is considered to be one of the region’s more mediocre courses is an excellent reason why the Phoenix area is one of the best golf vacation areas anywhere. The state has over 300 courses of every conceivable shape and size.
Stay and play
One of the best places for you to stay while on a Phoenix golf vacation is a Camelback Mountain Townhome. These vacation rentals have indoor and outdoor dining areas, full kitchens, a master suite with a private balcony, office, bathroom, and private garden. The Camelback community includes a community pool, hiking trails, and a racquetball club. Several shops, restaurants, and wellness centers are within a short walking distance of your Camelback residence. Enjoy strolling over to The Village Health Club and Spa, AJ’s Fine Foods, Steak 44, or The Henry. You may also be able to join the Camelback Golf Club at the JW Marriot Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. This course first opened its doors in the 1970s and completely renovated its look in 2013. Inquire about joining as the exclusive course provides for a maximum number of just over 200 memberships.
And then there is the 19th Hole residence featuring a dining area, full kitchen, master bedroom, guest bedroom, walk-in shower, and built-in 19th hole putting green. The 19th Hole vacation rentals are situated on the border of Ahwatukee within the South Mountain Park foothills.
For a particularly luxurious golf vacation home, consider Sky Mountain Estates, a gated subdivision of Red Mountain Ranch. There is also a private pool, spa with swim-up bar, a gas barbecue grill, covered dining area, lounge chairs, and a gas fire pit. A short walk away will bring you to community-wide amenities like tennis courts, driving range, fitness center, pool, and hot tub.
