This was our second visit and we returned because we love the privacy of the pool. This visit was disappointing because when we arrived the outside garbage bin was full to overflowing (we had to put it on the street 5 days after arrival and it was very heavy) and there was a weeks' worth, or more, doggy waste bags in the back yard which was never cleaned over the 3 weeks we were there, even though we brought it to the attention of Vacasa when we first arrived. Generally, everything is dated including the TV's (no smart TV so casting is not possible) although there was lots of cable TV selections, bedding was the same as from 3 years ago so quite worn out, fridge door is still not latching properly, and be prepared to clean the pool regularly as there are a lot of plants around the pool that lose their leaves and berries whenever there is a wind. Pool cleaner comes once per week. The house is large so lots of space but only two thermostats so AC temperature isn't always optimal for bedrooms. Wifi was good which was appreciated.

We absolutely loved our stay at Desert Foothills. The home was incredibly inviting and exactly what we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool, the comfortable living room, and of course the spacious master bedroom and bathroom. This has quickly become our new favorite, and it will always be our first choice when renting in the valley.

This home is in a nice area (foothills) and a quiet neighborhood. It’s a big house and we had plenty of room for our family of five. The decor is a bit outdated but comfortable. The best part of this rental by far is how it backs up to South Mountain. The back of the property is stunning! The pool is really nice and lit up at night (but no heater 😔). The location was convenient to family I had in town and I would rent it again.
