Honestly I didn't love anything about this trip except for the fact that I was with my family. What we have gone through a different company and a different property we would have had so much better of a Time I really wish they could have fully refunded us.
It was a cool place
Unfortunately, this property did not meet expected standards and was a disappointing experience for our family. Upon arrival, the home was not properly cleaned or prepared and had multiple safety and maintenance concerns, which was especially troubling as we were traveling with young children, including an infant. There were issues that made certain areas feel unsafe or unusable, and it was clear the home had not been thoroughly inspected prior to our stay. We contacted Vacasa immediately and provided documentation. While customer service was polite, the resolution process was slow and required repeated follow-ups. We were not seeking a refund initially but asked for relocation due to safety concerns; however, no alternative accommodations were available. As a result, we were forced to remain in the home despite the issues. A partial refund was eventually offered, which we appreciate, but it does not fully reflect the condition of the property or the disruption to our stay. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property, particularly for families with children. The home needs significant attention before it should be listed for guests again.
Not at all what I thought I was paying for.
The hot tub did not work and it doesn’t look like it will anytime soon. Everything in the house is old, crappy rental stuff. The house was clean, definitely in need of some updates, but it’s dog friendly and close to the beach which worked for us for the weekend.
This home needs many repairs. Missing trim on doorways, missing light bulbs in kitchen (very hard to see when trying to cook), loose trim in living room making it a tripping hazard, very bad leaking through laundry room door, cobwebs, hot tub not usable (temperature cannot be regulated through worn out buttons), only space heaters in living room, very slick deck and stairs (non-slip strips worn off), front gate needs work, no fan in kitchen and couldn’t find a switch or button for garbage disposal. One queen bed was very soft and the other was hard. Paint was patched and not complete inside. Good location, however.
