Nearby lakes such as Timothy Lake, 20 miles south, and Clear Lake,10 miles south, provide fabulous opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, and picnicking. If you crave the amenities of a larger town, drive on the beautiful, tree-lined highway west for 30 miles to reach Sandy, which has a variety of restaurants and stores.
