This was our 2nd time staying at this home. Its roomy, comfortable, and so much fun. It has everything and anything you could need. 100% recommend this beautiful property.

The location is perfect, the pool is great, the beds are incredibly comfortable. Portable TV was a great touch - we were able to wheel it outside and watch the FSU/Miami game :) Overall, our stay was great. The issues we encountered were relatively minor, and the ones we reached out about were addressed pretty quickly. But we arrived at the house and the bistro lights had fallen off of the side of the home and were laying on the ground. So hanging out by the pool that first night lacked the ambience we were hoping for. This was fixed the next day. Also upon arrival, the pool was pretty dirty (inluding a dead frog and dead lizard). There's a sign inside the home that says the pool gets cleaned every Friday (we got there on a Thursday), so it makes sense that the pool was kinda dirty. But nonetheless, we opted out of swimming that first night, and it was cleaned by the time we woke up the next morning. The grill was out of propane. Luckily we checked it a few hours before we were going to grill out and were able to run out and get it filled. They said I would get reimbursed (I haven't been so far, but expect that I will). Inside, we left a box of donuts (closed) on the kitchen counter, only to find it infested with small ants about an hour later. So from then on, we chose to store our food in the oven and/or microwave. We didn't have much problems w/ ants after that. I hate that this review sounds so critical - because we really did have a great time. But I wanted to be helpful to future prosepctive renters. I feel like most of these issues could have been avoided had someone done a walk-through of the house a few hours before we got there (especially considering the management company is literally a 3-minute walk from the property).

The house was great very clean, but the pool was amazing

I hate to do this but maybe the owners will see it and will help this property live up to its potential. We’ll start with what I love. The pool is amazing. All the pool amenities are amazing. Basketball goal, volleyball net (used umbrella poles to set it up) floats, pool toys, patio furniture all amazing. Access to a small beach and dock in the sound was amazing. I wish we would have found it sooner. Pack like you’re going to the beach, take the paddleboards. Fun time. Speaking of paddle boards I am so grateful we were able to use them, very kind of the owners to trust guests with them. Loved the lower ‘kid room’ set up. All the sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, tents etc available you don’t need to bring anything. All the cooking utensils, pots, pans bowls etc. provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash like hotels was a nice touch. now to the not so great. The house is very dated. You could tell by the photos. What you can’t see is the cabinet paint peeling off, the constant squeaking of cabinet doors, the bathroom smelled awful like a leaking toilet or something. The kitchen chairs were so worn there is bars sticking up that rub your tailbone. The old flat cushions they have to cover it doesn’t really help much. The house claims to have two outdoor showers. However one is located right next to the stinky trash cans and has no pavers so when you do use the shower you get covered in mud. The ping pong table advertised is not a ‘real’ ping pong table. One of the reasons we booked the house was the ping pong table. It’s one of our favorite things. This is like a cheap mini version. Similar to a foosball table. While there is plenty of toys and things in the garage it was cluttered and piled up the garage door wasn’t working due to things piled up over the sensor. Figured that out on day 3 after I decided to organize the mess. Same with the kitchen. On hands and knees trying to search for pots and pans to use because there is so much cluttered under the cabinet. On to the last thing and that was the ac not working in the upstairs. We slept in a room with the windows open to let the ‘cooler’ wind (82 degrees) in. It was remedied at 11pm the next night. The whole house is ran by mini split ACs. Great for the bedrooms but the living room is cooled by the unit in the kitchen that blows directly at the stove so you’re freezing while cooking but the living room stays a balmy 75 in the heat of the day. O, I almost forgot. The grill was older and so dirty, even after cleaning it up it ended up catching on fire. Luckily the house came with a fire extinguisher. I want to say again the pool was amazing. Having beach toys, chairs, paddleboards also added a positive experience for us. This house has so much potential but it seems the owners just haven’t made keeping it up a priority. A few small changes and TLC to this property could make so much difference in the stay.

Rented this house for the pool and location and those two things delivered! The super close access to the bay and easy walk to the beach made everything so convenient. The house needs love and a deep clean, so that part was a bummer, but the neighborhood it was in was amazing.

Comfortable house with amazing pool. You'll not be disappointed in the pool and outdoor area. Nice neighborhood, and pretty good location. Beach is right across the street. House could use some furniture and decor updates.
