The setting feels scenic and open, with the water as the main feature and the surrounding shoreline shaping a relaxed pace. The house was just what I was looking for to accommodate our family of 8 and our large dog! Wonderful view of lake, sunset and stars! A perfect place to relax, spread out and have our own spaces when needed, then come together for games and laughter. Three of us couples had our own attached bathroom! The only complaints from family was difficulty regulating temperature for each of the three floors with one central thermostat in the heat of summer. It was super clean, even the deck. The pots/pans are Teflon and are chipping, if that is a concern to you. Be aware: the driveway is a jack-knife turn, difficult to find, and very steep. It is a perfect place to get away from it all. We were willing to drive ten minutes to the nearest trailhead we could find and the 20+ minutes to CDA. All in all, it is a great, pet-friendly house and we would rent it again!
I think this was a great rental for the price and the location we wanted. It was clean and just across the highway from the lake. It is well kept and nice place to land. It would be difficult to find the driveway at night but luckily we arrived during the day. The access and driveway up to the house is kind of difficult and you have to back down the driveway onto the highway below but I got used to it. You just have to be careful cars aren't coming as the corner seems kind of blind.
The home was ideal, except no dock to use...the management not good
This house was nice and we enjoyed most amenities, however the thermostat was locked and so we had no option to turn the air up or down and it made sleeping uncomfortable. In my opinion- if you are willing to rent out your home, you should be willing to pay the electric bill and not assume the temperature your guests would be comfortable with.
The house and view were spectacular!
We had a great time, wonderful view and lots of availability for sleeping for our large group.
