Overview
Escape to Oceanside
The spectacular landscape of the Northern Oregon Coast awaits when you stay at this beautiful hand-crafted Oceanside vacation rental. With a superb location just a quarter-mile from the beach and breathtaking views of the coast from not one but two south-facing decks, this homey cabin infuses your vacation with a unique touch of the Pacific Northwest. Tucked away in the quiet village of Oceanside, this home is perfect for anyone hoping to escape the crowds of Oregon's more popular coastal towns. Stroll down the hill to the broad, sandy beach, where you can explore tide pools, go kitesurfing, or marvel at the rugged terrain. For a change of pace, hike up to the lighthouse at Cape Meares, or head into nearby Tillamook for a tour of its world-famous Cheese Factory. (We recommend picking up some groceries while you're there - Oceanside only has a couple of restaurants and no markets.) The house is built entirely from wood and boasts an unobstructed 15-mile view of the water and shoreline, along with two spacious decks for admiring the scenery. Inside, you'll find two separate sections: a main suite with two bedrooms and a loft, and a smaller studio with a private entrance. There's no TV, but you'll find plenty of books, speakers for your music, and free WiFi for checking your social media and chatting with friends back home. Both the main house and the studio also include their own kitchens with a stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, plus private access to their own deck. Escape to Oceanside for an Oregon getaway you'll never forget. Book your reservation today! *Please note that cell service is very poor in Oceanside, and will be a little better toward the road or much better in Netarts (two miles away). Please plan accordingly!

We loved the big windows, comfy blankets and great views of the ocean when it was stormy during king tides in November. However with all the wood it does creak and you could feel strong wind gusts shaking the home. We loved it but I know others might be scared as the house is on steel supports on a cliffside. We loved the cd player to jam out while making breakfast. The home is minutes from the beach and we found some great agates at tunnel beach.
Walking distance to the beach. Awesome southern view. Sound of the ocean waves.
For an older couple who love to read and walk on the beach, this quiet, rustic cabin with an amazing view of the ocean, was perfect for us.
We loved our stay in Oceanside. We walked to a local cafe for breakfast and we enjoyed the beach each day. The location was fantastic. The views are beautiful to the south. There is a tree blocking the view to the north but we appreciated the shade from the tree as we sat on the deck. Be mindful that there are no window coverings and the stove is not on the main level but in the downstairs studio. We were glad to see that beach chairs, wetsuits, and beach towels were offered on location and used the chairs to enjoy the sunset. Overall it was a very charming place and we enjoyed our stay immensely.
Beautiful hand built looking home, amazing location just a few minutes walking from the beach. Great views too from most of the bed rooms. The main floor has a private bedroom and then a loft area with another two beds, kitchen, bathroom and living room. The bottom floor has a private studio bedroom with a small kitchen and bath as well. No TV but good WIFI.
The view is spectacular, and the house is quite rustic; lots of wood.
