Owned by three proud Denfeld HS alumni (the “Hunters”), its design includes locally crafted outdoor furniture from Loll Designs, and cozy, eclectic interior furnishings expressing local, regional, and global influences. The two-floor layout maximizes flexibility for large groups and extended families. Each floor contains two bedrooms and a convertible sofa. Upstairs features an open floor plan with large entertaining spaces, including living area with fireplace, dining area, a full kitchen and pantry, and a large BBQ deck overlooking the river; downstairs has its own efficiency kitchen and river-view patio with BBQ and picnic table. Part of the RiverWest community, Hunters Lodge is the closest home to the river. The community offers easy access to nearby kayak and other boat rentals for exploring the river, and a wealth of year-round outdoor activities including downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, all kinds of biking, hiking, fishing, and more. Yet, I-35, Lincoln Park, Canal Park, Lake Superior and most Twin Ports destinations are all only minutes away.
