The waterslide has undergone several renovations and updates over the years. Still, the owners have always strived to maintain its classic charm while adding new features and improvements. Today, it's a modern and well-maintained attraction that continues to draw visitors year after year.

The Fun Spot Waterslide features two chutes that will give adrenaline junkies a rush! The larger of the two is a steep, fast slide that sends you zipping to the bottom in seconds. The smaller one offers a gentler slope, perfect for those who want to take it easy.

As if that's not enough fun, this water slide sits on a raised platform, giving stunning ocean and beach views. While waiting in line, you can enjoy the scenery and feel the refreshing sea breeze on your face.

The water park's proximity to other Crystal Beach landmarks and attractions makes planning multiple visits easy. Take the ferry over to the Historic Downtown Strand Seaport Partnership and explore the boutiques, museums, and restaurants. While you're there, add a visit to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and take advantage of the amusement park rides. 

Fun Spot Waterslide is open seasonally, typically from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, and in addition to the water slides, there's a kiddie pool area. This highlight makes the park an excellent destination for families with young children.

• Head south on State Hwy 87 S towards Crystal Beach.
• Turn left onto Crystal Beach Rd.
• Continue straight until you reach the intersection of Crystal Beach Rd and Boyt Rd.
• Turn right onto Boyt Rd and continue until you see signs for the park.

Cost

Admission to Fun Spot Waterslide is $10 for one hour or $20 for the whole day.
