About

Have you ever wanted to safely get close to a gator? Or perhaps you're a nature lover who would like to learn more about these colossal reptiles? If so, Gator Country Adventure Park is for you!

This alligator theme park in Beaumont, TX, is easy to spot from the road thanks to the giant green alligator welcoming visitors.

Visiting Gator Country can be one of the most fascinating experiences on a Bolivar vacation. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guides provide a brief history of Texas alligators. Did you know that alligators have been around for millions of years and can live up to 50 years in the wild?

The staff at Gator Country are dedicated to educating visitors about the lifespan of alligators and their essential role in nature. The park's founder, Gary Saurage, began rescuing alligators in 2005 and has since saved over 450 alligators from unideal situations.

When rescued, the alligators are given a new home at Gator Country to live out their days in a safe and healthy environment.

Visiting Gator Country is exhilarating, educational, and perfect for all ages. Be sure to add this to your vacation to-do list.

Fun Facts & Cool Features

One fascinating feature is the size of some of these creatures. The largest alligator at Gator Country is "Big Tex," measuring 13'8.5". He's a sight to behold!

One of the coolest features at Gator Country is the opportunity to hold a live alligator! The trained staff make guests feel completely at ease and will take photos of you holding the alligator.

Another fun feature at Gator Country is the exhibit in Crystal Beach. Visitors can hold live snakes, feed a giant tortoise, and get up close and personal with nature's wild. This exhibit is next to Fun Spot Waterslide, making it the perfect stop for families looking for adventure.

Adding a trip to Gator Country on your Bolivar vacation promises to educate and delight. You'll learn about alligators and their importance in our ecosystem and hold one for an immersive experience.
