From Bolivar Peninsula, follow these step-by-step directions to the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier:

  • Drive south on Highway 87 until you reach the ferry landing.
  • Take the ferry across the bay to Galveston Island.
  • Once you arrive on the island, continue driving on Ferry Road for about 2 miles.
  • Turn left onto Harborside Drive and drive for about 4 miles.
  • Turn right onto 25th Street and drive for about 0.5 miles.
  • Turn left onto Seawall Boulevard and drive for about 2 miles.
  • The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier will be on your right.
