Each cabin is equipped with the essentials for a rustic mountain stay. Fireplaces are generally operational from October 1 - April 1, but if this is an important feature, please inquire prior to booking!
 
Pilot Mountain Cabin 1: A classic mountain hideaway, this cozy cabin features a compact kitchen for preparing meals, a couch that doubles as a futon with a TV positioned in front of the fireplace, a private bathroom, and a relaxing jacuzzi tub. The loft holds a queen-sized bed tucked beneath sloped ceilings, and the covered porch offers scenic views perfect for morning coffee or sunset watching. Sleeps 4.
 
Groundhog Mountain Cabin 2: This airy, open-layout cabin combines comfort and charm with a queen-sized bed, a cozy seating area with a sofa and recliner in front of a fireplace and TV, and a kitchen with all the essentials. It also includes a private bathroom and jacuzzi tub. Step outside to a covered porch with seating and sweeping views of the Blue Ridge landscape. Sleeps 2.
 
Buffalo Mountain Cabin 3: A peaceful retreat with a touch of rustic character, this cabin includes a small kitchen, a comfy sitting area with a couple that converts into a sleeper sofa in front of a TV and fireplace, and a private bathroom. The upstairs loft offers a quiet sleeping nook with a queen-sized bed, while the jacuzzi tub downstairs invites relaxation. Outside, a covered porch awaits with charming views. Sleeps 4.
 
Chicken House Cabin 4: Quaint and full of character, this uniquely named cabin features a kitchenette, a dining table set in front of the fireplace, a queen-sized bed, a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and a relaxing jacuzzi tub. Outside, unwind on the covered balcony and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Sleeps 2.
 
Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin 5: One of our most spacious options, this two-bedroom cabin is perfect for families or small groups. Each bedroom includes a queen-sized bed. The roomy living area has a large sofa in front of a fireplace and TV, while the fully stocked kitchen is ready for your group meals. Enjoy a jacuzzi tub, a bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and a large covered porch with ample seating and lovely views. Sleeps 4.
 
Cumberland Knob Cabin 6: This cozy, hillside cabin includes a charming kitchenette and dining area, a snug seating space with an electric fireplace and TV, a queen-sized bed, and a small sofa for additional comfort. The jacuzzi tub and full bathroom with a shower/tub combo add extra relaxation. The private covered porch offers a peaceful spot to soak in the scenery. Sleeps 2.
 
Rocky Knob Cabin 7: Warm and welcoming, this cabin mirrors the layout of Cabin 6 but with its own touches. It includes a well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, queen-sized bed, two stylish accent chairs, and a comfortable seating area in front of the fireplace and TV. The bathroom features a shower/tub combo, and the jacuzzi tub is perfect for soaking after a long day outdoors. Covered porch with scenic views. Sleeps 2.
 
Schoolhouse Cabin 9: This charming retreat offers a touch of nostalgia with its schoolhouse name. Inside you’ll find a small kitchen with all the essentials, a dining table for two, a queen-sized bed, and a leather loveseat facing the fireplace and TV. The cabin also features a jacuzzi tub and a bathroom with a standing shower. Outdoors, two rocking chairs on the covered porch await your quiet moments. Sleeps 2.
 
Stone Mountain Cabin 10: A traditional log cabin feel with modern comfort, this space includes a queen-sized bed, a living area with a sofa and fireplace, and a full kitchen with everything you need. Walker Mountain Cabin 12: A peaceful twin to Cabins 6 and 7, this cozy space features a queen-sized bed, a simple yet functional kitchenette, a jacuzzi tub, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Outside, a generous covered porch with seating provides the ideal spot to take in the crisp mountain air and panoramic views. Sleeps 2.

Please note: All cabins are non smoking.  Minimum booking age is 18. The venue is pet friendly, but guests must sign a pet agreement and pay a one time pet fee. 
 
Lonesome Pine Cabins is a charming cluster of 12 rustic log cabins tucked into the high country above the Blue Ridge Parkway in Fancy Gap, Virginia (milepost ~197), offering sweeping panoramic views of the Virginia and North Carolina foothills—including Buffalo Mountain. Located just off the scenic Parkway, these cabins are ideal for a peaceful mountain retreat or romantic getaway.
 
Nestled on 21 acres of wooded, rolling hills, Lonesome Pine Cabins offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, it's the perfect home base for exploring scenic drives, hiking trails, local music venues, and charming wineries and antique shops in nearby towns like Galax, Floyd, and Independence.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it’s part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!
