The space was great, not enough furniture although for a group. Mouse droppings found throughout kitchen. Little critter got.into the chip bags in the box several mornings. Although the house and property were great, it just needs some modern updates, and attention to details.

First, our family had a wonderful week at this house. The lakefront property is beautiful, and the ability to jump right in the water and keep all of our gear right at the dock was great. We spent the entire week playing in the water. That being said, the property has lots of issues. It is apparent that at one time the house was beautiful, however it is in disrepair. There are many broken doors, screens etc. Broken railings on the deck. Broken locks on some doors. Little attention is paid to the exterior of the house. We needed to sweep the outside decks and remove cobwebs and bugs from all of the screen doors. Sounds like a silly complaint but when you spend all that money on a vacation you dont want to start by doing housework. The deck on the house is gigantic, but only has 1 table with 6 chairs. No other seating. But the view is gorgeous. The interior of the house is spacious. It was very clean inside, with the exception of mouse droppings in all of the drawers and counters. We called Vacasa and they offered pest control at that time. The bedrooms are sparsely furnished. 3 of the rooms are in the basement... a very weird space. Very little furniture and uncomfortable beds ( the master bedroom bed was great). The kitchen is ok but very limited amount of cookware. Lots of silverware, but random plates etc. We were expecting a better stocked kitchen. There is an extra fridge in the basement which was a bonus. We really enjoyed our week with our family here despite the issues. If the owners pay some attention it would be a remarkable vacation home.
