Lakeview Lodge

Lakeview Lodge was a fantastic getaway, our group absolutely adored this place. The house is roomier than expected and has plenty of seating in the common spaces, on top of all the beds. The bunk beds are even full sized and can comfortably fit 2 people. The beds are also comfortable and plenty of extra blankets and bedding are available if needed. There were some basic cleaning supplies provided like some dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent. The kitchen was supplied with a variety of small appliances like an air fryer, kettle, and coffee maker, which was very useful for all our cooking needs. The log cabin feel makes for a cozy getaway and there was nothing like the gorgeous views of the sunrise and sunset over the lake. The property also has 2 docks, a boat ramp, kayaks and a small beach area. It’s a gorgeous getaway both day and night, as the outdoor firepit area is well-maintained and has plenty of seating. We loved this place and are looking forward to coming back!

I have vacationed at Lake Anna for 30 years and have stayed at several places around the lake. Lakeview lodge was wonderful. The House was laid out nice and had plenty of room. The lot was great with beautiful views and an awesome fire pit. I will have to say that the instructions were a little confusing. In the advertisement it stated that it had its own boat ramp, which is why I chose this house to begin with, but the info binder at the house said you had to launch from the local marina. The binder also said all you had to do when leaving was start the dish washer, but I got a text the night before that said to strip the bedding. It was no big deal, but when you have to be out by 10:00 am you want to have a game plan ahead of time. But other than some contradicting instructions, this is a very relaxing and wonderful place to enjoy a vacation. I got nothing but compliments from my family. I will look to book it again next year.

The house and lakefront property were really great. Comfy beds (lots of pillows and blankets available) and plenty of space. Just make sure you bring all your necessary cooking items. Kitchen could use more large bowls and a baking sheet and oven mitts would be nice. The house was very clean at check in. Bring your cleaning supplies with though if you like to tidy up every day. Bring laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs. Grill was in good shape and had plenty of propane but no grill utensils. The docks and fire pit were amazing but pack your own floats. We enjoyed a fire at night and swimming in the cove and fishing during the day. I would certainly return to this pretty property, just would pack more supplies. Not even any salt, pepper, or olive oil which is understandable so bring it with!
