Patel's Cozy Cabin

We were thankful for a close place to stay at Lake Anna while we visited our sons in the local triathlon. This location was beautiful, quiet, and secluded. We loved the well stocked kitchen, dishwasher, lots of space, game room and the view. Unfortunately communication with guest services was quite poor. The king bed had no fitted sheet, two mattress pad covers (1 too small), and the wrong size top sheet and comforter (they put queen size on a king size bed). Long story short, this issue took all three days of our stay to be resolved. There are several broken/cracked tiles in the cabin. One in the master bathroom is completely loose and dangerous if you step on it. We had to cover it with the bath mat to prevent injury. The hot tub was very cloudy. When we asked if it had been clean and whether it was usable, they said they would look into it and never got back to us. The master bedroom is also much hotter (when the heat is on) than the rest of the cabin and we couldn't get it cool enough (and still keep the rest of the cabin warm). We were able to close one vent, but not the other. Carpets also looked dirty. The cabin is beautiful but could definitely use some updates and repairs. Again the location is perfect. With better communication, attention to detail, and some repairs/updates, this could be an excellent place to stay.

the lake water was not kid friendly. the kids did kind of swim but nothing compared to the last 4 years. The lake area was not friendly to hangout. The hot tub could have used more water. But house was cute, and clean. the beds were comfy. The fire place was cute.

We enjoyed relaxing and playing together at this cabin with lots of trees, open grassy areas, and inlet access. We found it as advertised, and particularly enjoyed the lower level game room spaces, large outdoor patio, and upper deck with a working grill. The cabin was clean and neat, and the kitchen was very well stocked with a large refrigerator, and almost any tool you would need. Would rent again!

Direct access to the lake was a real bonus! It was nice and quiet around the property.

Comfortable, clean, enjoyable stay. A few outdated or false pictures of the property. The pictures show having a full size ping pong table topper to the air hockey table. The only ping pong table was a very small unpictured children's table that was maybe 3x5. The pictured actual dart board has been replaced by a small and cheap toy magnetic dart board that isn't strong enough to hold the darts. One of the kayak backs were broken making it so not everyone could join. Guest service did not seem to know the property. Incorrect instruction on where the outdoor trash storage was located (and it's color to help find). Inquired about if additional parking was available on property or nearby due to people needing to arrive depart at different times and was told there was no room/a strict 4 car limit and not sure of other local options causing an uncomfortable carpool. The drive way could have easily fit multiple additional cars.

The whole experience was very mid. The home itself had nice amenities and was cozy. We had a fun time with all of our friends in this private cabin. But we were very dissapointed with the cleanliness of the whole place. First of all, the check-in process was not smooth because the person I was texting with had many typos and was passive aggressive. The home had obviously not been cleaned before we arrived. The hardwood floor was dirty and looked as if it had never been polished. The kitchen was full of mold in the drawers. There were dirty dishes and cooking utensils, and it was obvious that it was not checked after the previous guest. There was trash in the main bedroom. One of the sofa beds had an earring sticking out of it. The hot tub was disgusting and murky. We were told that the driveway was shoveled to as best as they could but it didn't look shoveled one bit.
