Pack up the whole family and make your way to your own private retreat here in Bumpass! This charming escapade is now under new ownership and has been recently upgraded to provide you with the best vacation spot. With tall ceilings, uninterrupted lake views, a volleyball court, and a fully equipped game room, there will be no lack of fun to be had on this trip. Spend long days on the water or simply relax with a favorite drink on the spacious deck in the summer sun. When everyone builds up an appetite, the chef of the group can head into the full kitchen and whip up a delicious meal as the colors of the sunset reflect off of the rippling water. When everyone is tuckered out, the sectional sofa is the perfect spot for a movie night in the living area. Board games and an Xbox gaming system are also available for some late-night competition. Additional perks include four single kayaks, one double kayak, one canoe with life jackets, and a game room with foosball, Ping-Pong, and a pool table. Tucked away in the trees along the shore of Lake Anna, this home away from home will feel like your own private paradise! With a private dock and boat launch mere steps from the back door, a day of kayaking, fishing, swimming, and boating will be a breeze. If you want a break from the lake, the adults of the group can indulge in a bar crawl at Lake Anna Winery, Coyote Hole Cidery, Cooling Pond Brewery, and Lake Anna Taphouse! Not to mention, the nearby hiking trails offer gorgeous views of the lake and foliage that this area is known for. For those with younger guests, two of the bedroom closets (including the one in the main bedroom) are very large and can easily accommodate an assembled Pack-N-Play for those who want a small, adjacent nursery.

    A cozy get away in the corner of the lake that has all the amenities you could use. Wonderful open floor plan with lots of light, check. A nice quiet dock and slip for lake access, check. A decent gas grill and plenty of kitchen cooking utensils for meals, check. And if you’ve ever needed to work remotely while there, a great corner office with plenty of light. My wife and I come here yearly; we bring our dog, who also loves it. He gets his own part of the couch and loves the yard. Although it’s just us when we go, there is plenty of space (beds/full baths), for larger parties.

    Our family getaway was fabulous from the arrival with a UNC flag hanging to the departure with the cleaning crew ensuring I was confident on how to leave the key. Every detail of living and experiencing the lake and comfy living has been thought of. We cooked in, slept with comfort, awoke to scenic views and always had a choice in activity.     Carolina Cove was very accommodating for our family of 5 adults and 4 children. We loved all the extras, like the playroom with toys, the game room with pingpong, volleyballnet, and especially the kayaks!! The dock is large, partially shaded and with the extra beach area a wonderful place to hang out. The shallow area made it great for our little ones to play safely as well as bringing the kayaks in and out. We enjoyed the spaciousness of all the rooms! Much was provided like extra chairs, plenty of kitchen ware, soaps and shampoos etc. Beautiful views of the lake, great sunsets. Would definitely recommend !
