The view from the balcony was nice
The location was beautiful and everyone was so kind. Loved having the dock. The Cabana Club was amazing and so was the staff. We loved the tradition at Sunset park where they play the 1812 overture aa the sun sets and then they play the Islands of Marathon song. It's location is perfect and so many things to do and see. We really hated to leave. Should've stayed for a month.
Tropical Charm was in a great location in Marathon Florida. Close to so many great activities. Area felt very safe.
Very clean and beautiful view. Some low water pressure in a couple sinks. One of the cleanest places I’ve ever rented. Patios and decks were nice and shaded Would definitely go again.
We checked in on Saturday at 4:00. We went to take a shower and found that the water was cold. I texted Vacasa customer service and they gave me some really lame advice. First, they suggested that I adjust the thermostat on the water heater. Being new to this house, I asked where the water heater was located. They had no clue. They were saying to look under the sinks, WHAT? I told them that as a renter I didn't think it was my job to find and adjust thermostats on a vacation house's water heater. The texting continued through Saturday and Sunday. Monday, MLK day, they said that a Plumber was coming over but probably not until Tuesday claiming the Plumber needs a special tool to remove the heating element and all stores were closed in observance of MLK day. I call BS. I was getting to run around from Vacasa, telling me untruths and lies about everything. They also claimed that a Plumber had come out on Sunday and determined that the elements need to be replaced. This also was untrue. Now 3 days with ZERO hot water. While texting on Monday afternoon, a plumber knocked on the door. He stated that this is the first time he had been here. He found the heater in the attic behind a door with a lock on it. I took him about 15 minutes to find that someone had turned off a switch in the attic and disabled the heater. No one in my party had done that or even knew where to access the stupid switch. All said, I feel Vacasa dropped the ball big time and were dishonest with me. They seemed to be just trying to pacify me instead of finding a resolution to the problem. The kitchen sink water never did get hot and the extra bathroom had no water to the sink. 3 days of no hot water, dishonest rental company, I'm done with Vacasa.
