Everything
Not a modern home at all - over, washer, dryer are all outdated. Provided dishes (pots and pans specifically) are something worse than you’d find at Goodwill. For 4 nights at 3.2k, I expected a lot more.
Bugs found in sheets of one of the twin beds. Futon couch had large stains on seating area. Fireplace did not work. Only 1 TV and dish network did not work. Old candy and trash found under beds. Condo was very dusty. Pots and pans had rust on them. Stove was from 1970's. Pans would not stay level while cooking. Location was great to the ski slopes. Called, text and emailed VACASA many times. A "local representative" was supposed to get back with us and never did. We checked out early and went to stay in a hotel in Santa Fe. I would not rent from VACASA thru VRBO!
If you are 21 years old and all you want to do is ski with your buds, this may be the place for you. It was not the place for me. I booked it with the intention of taking a few teens and my two small dogs with me. Expedia made it look like the dogs were perfectly okay to have. I even have a screenshot of the wording "DOGS OK". Before leaving on the trip, I noticed Vacasa said No pets allowed. Vacasa was the one doing the communication at this point. I sought clarity and was told Vacasa's policy is NO PETS so I got screwed and had to find and pay additional for a place for my pups. I would never have booked this place but for the dogs being okay and I still haven't heard back about what happened/why/how they plan to rectify this situation. I'm so angry. Made the trip much more stressful than it should have been. In the guest book at the place I stayed, it even had multiple guests saying what a fun time they'd had with their dogs, etc. Did I mention that none of us could get the TV to work and Vacasa's rep said someone "local" would call me back within the hour and I never received a return phone call from anyone. Not about the dogs, not about the TV, nothing. Awful service and place for how much I paid. The sheets were muslin and I got ripped off. Vacasa, Expedia? Still nothing? You can do better than this, I feel certain.
