Loved the location and the easy self check in and out process.
Great location, parking was easy, bonus points because there was a decent sized hill to sled down nearby. Despite other reviews, the place was easy to access. I would definitely come back!
If you’re looking for a place to just shower, lay your head down and be out all day, then this place will suffice. If you’re lucky enough to get a parking stall near the condo, you still have quite the hike to the front door. There is no ac and the swamp cooler that is provided has a mildew odor when in use. Would not recommend staying here during summer or anytime there is warm weather..
Great stay overall. Quick drive into town for daytime activities in South Lake Tahoe and quiet at night. The reviews about the stairs to the property are no joke. We got a bit of a workout going up (high altitude didn’t help). Property is well maintained. Sofa could use an upgrade, but otherwise everything we could need was there. One of the TVs cable wasn't working-contacted Vacasa and they sent someone out to check. Turns out the Roku stick was missing-we told our kid he could just go without TV and enjoy being on vacation. Parking availability close to the stairs is hit or miss depending on when you arrived-if late at night you have a bit of a hike. Overall-it was great to have a comfortable place to relax after various activities.
We loved our stay. Would 10/10 visit again.
1. The listing promises parking for two vehicles. When we arrived in the evening, there were no parking spaces. Texting Vacasa guest services did not resolve the problem. 2. The stairs, leading down to the property are very steep and very long. It is extremely difficult carrying suitcases and ski gear up and down the stairs. Furthermore, the stairs were icy. The lower portion of the stairs is completely dark and unlit at night. This represents a substantial slipping hazard. Unless you were young and athletic, I would not recommend this property. 3. On our first morning, we discovered that the toaster oven and the coffee maker were both broken. Vacasa replaced both of those later in the day. 4. All of the pots and pans are scratched and the nonstick surfaces are peeling off. They all need to be replaced. 5. Something I’ve never seen at a rental unit: instead of providing shampoo and body wash, they provide small paper capsules of powdered shampoo and body wash that doesn’t work well. Ultra cheap. 6. The listing advertised a gas fireplace, but it was an operative. In short, this is a valuable property in a good location. However, it needs to be advertised more clearly. Also, there needs to be better property management and avoid problems like this. We would absolutely never stay here again.
