The Pine House

We vacation annually in Flagstaff and have stayed in numerous rentals. This house was fine but probably the worst we've stayed at (the other ones were just better). The pillows and sheets were absolutely terrible. Also there was no sponge or cleaning brush so there were a bunch of dirty dishes in the cabinets because all you could use was the dishwasher and that doesn't get everything. There were some positives. I love that they provide stuff for dogs - bowls, bags, and leashes. There were nice sleds for the kids to use and even a bike. However, I'd prefer to have some of the basic amenities over these pluses.

The neighborhood was quiet. The pots and pans are very old. The light bulbs are out. The thermostat has a very modern interface and is very difficult to control temperature. We asked vacasa for manual/instruction but got no answer. No answer on where to find extra garbage bags, either.

Great option for our large family and close to everything we wanted to do!

This was a phenomenal home base for our family of 5 to enjoy seeing all that Flagstaff and the surrounding areas have to offer! It was spacious, cozy, and perfectly situated in a great location! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and sitting on the balcony in the evenings looking at the stars. It was perfect for family movie nights, board games, and home-cooked meals. But it was also just minutes from delicious local restaurants! We enjoyed short trips to the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and Sedona. Locally, Lowell Observatory, the Flagstaff mall, and several excellent parks made this the perfect spot for a family vacation! The home was inviting and happy with just the perfect atmosphere to be a home away from home!
