Island Echos 3M is a tastefully decorated condo in Fort Walton Beach. This condo features welcoming décor with elegant furnishings throughout. When you enter, you will find an open floor plan, with the kitchen, dining area, and living room connected. The well-equipped kitchen offers a wraparound layout with plenty of storage space and all utensils needed to create your own meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, with a table. The living area features a sofa, two chairs, and a TV and DVD player combo, perfect for movie nights after a long day at the beach. Walk out the sliding glass doors onto a spacious balcony and enjoy the view of the beautifully manicured pool area and a partial view of the Gulf of Mexico. The balcony has a table and chairs so you can enjoy your morning coffee or a sangria at sunrise or sunset. Next to the living room, you will find the primary bedroom with an attached bathroom with a large single vanity, perfect for getting ready for a night out on the town. Island Echos has every amenity desired, including an excellent Gulf beach access and a seasonally heated Gulf-side swimming pool with an oversized sundeck. Additionally, you can enjoy playing a tennis match with friends or family on the lighted tennis court, and you can enjoy some fun on the water and rent a kayak. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. Things to Know Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge. The condo was perfect for us! The oceanfront view, the comfy bed, the VERY clean room was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation! 10/10 recommend! And Brandon the beach attendant was wonderful, too!

While there were a few cosmetic items that could be updated in this unit, it provided a perfect landing spot after long days on the beach! The bed is very comfortable, and all kitchen supplies were provided to prepare quick lunches. The drying rack on the balcony is a bonus! The third floor location is quick by both elevator and stairs. I would happily return to this unit again!

3m was nice and clean, and the property is well taken care of. The unit 's furnishings are dated and the bright green rugs are very old and contribute to a musty smell. The location is perfect and the beach is flawless.

Perks: Short walk to the beach; condo bathrooms and vending machines a short walk from the pool/beach; $5 bags of ice available for card purchase in the garage; drying rack on the balcony; strong Wi-Fi; Soapbox products in the shower/a pack of laundry detergent/dishwasher detergent; detachable showerhead; short walk/drive to Tom Thumb which has EVERYTHING you could need. Vacasa responded very quickly both times I reached out via text and someone came swiftly for the tv (I thought something was wrong with the bedroom tv, but the outlet that was used for that was connected to a light switch which happened to be flipped off). Room for improvement: The carpet gives the unit a mild mildewy smell and the green color is definitely outdated (there were also a few stains/spots). There were several minor cosmetic things that could be touched up (chips and dents on dining room chair and doorframe, dent in lampshade, etc.). The pull-out sofa's fitted sheet was dirty. There was a broom in the closet but no dustpan (would've been easier to sweep up sand, etc.). Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will very likely be using Vacasa again.

We have been staying at Island Echoes since the 70s and love the location and the facility. This unit, however, was not impressive. The green carpet and furnishings need updating. The ice maker didn’t work and the lock on the balcony door was broken. The side of the refrigerator was covered with rust stains. Glassware was dingy and needs to be replaced… and cocktail glasses are needed. If you are looking for a low key quiet area to vacation, Island Echoes is the perfect place.
