Check in and check out was communicated to us well. The process was simple and seamless. The place was very well kept and clean. It had everything we needed. We highly recommend Vacasa and this unit.

For our size group it was the perfect alternative to hotels with the comfort of a home. Great location and access to amenities.

This home was very clean upon check-in. It has a lot of space and the air conditioning works well. The refrigerator has an ice maker and the mattresses are quite comfortable. That said, however, there is quite a list of problems where the property doesn't meet expectations. Here are a few: About half the beds in the house only have sheets, no comforter. I know it's Florida, but most people like to sleep with more than just a sheet! There is also a lack of pillows to sleep with. If we had had a full house, there would not have been enough pillows for everyone to even have one! The listing says the house has cable - this is NOT TRUE. The house has wireless internet, but does not have cable television. The TV in the living room has a Roku, so you can log into your own streaming services, but no other room has that. We reached out to Vacasa to ask for this issue to be resolved and a nice local gentleman reached out to me a few hours later. They reset the internet, but that did not resolve the issue. When you turn on the cable, you get the Spectrum error that says they can't find your service, which means the bill hasn't been paid. If they are not going to pay for cable TV to be on, fine, but don't list it as an amenity! The club house is cute and there is a pretty nice pool and hot tub. Trouble is, the pool is NOT HEATED. It was colder than a cold spring and even kids who are usually immune to cold water as long as they get to go swimming, wouldn't get in all the way and ended up in the hot tub. So, if the weather is cool, you can't use the pool! When we arrived at the property, we realized we needed a gate code to enter the community. We had received a door code for the townhouse, but a gate code was not provided. We checked in late and clubhouse wasn't open, so we couldn't ring the buzzer to get let in. Fortunately, we received a fairly quick response from Vacasa when we texted them about the issue. This whole problem could have been avoided if Vacasa would have just included the gate code in the check-in informational email. No brainer! One more inconvenience is that check-out is 10 a.m. We reached out to inquire about a late check-out, but they told us they do not offer anything past 10 a.m. It's unreasonably early and made our check-out day unnecessarily hectic and stressful. I still give this property 4 out of 5 stars because we enjoyed our time together and a clean, spacious place to gather goes a long way to making a vacation relaxing. The gated community is also lovely, quiet, and well-kept. With a few changes/fixes and some updates to the listing to make it more truthful, this could be a 5 star rental. Would I stay here again? Yes. Now that I know the issues and what to expect to avoid disappointment and what to ask about in advance, yes, I would stay again.
