This was a great house for a larger group gathering with 2 bedrooms on main level and 3 bedrooms upstairs. Kitchen is well stocked with necessities. The house was clean and comfortable, and I really liked the large dining table, as it was perfect for everyone to sit together for meals and games. The convenience to the beach can’t be beat. I will make it a point to come back here.
Was a wonderful property, walking distance to the beach, amazing views and plenty of room for the whole family! Easy booking, check-in and checkout process. Relaxing and Fun!
We had a wonderful time together I. This house. It’s right on the beach, with great views of the beach and waves. The common spaces are comfortable and spacious. Plenty of rooms to escape to when you need some private time. Easy to use kitchen and grill. Close to the town and good hiking trails.
While showing a few signs of age, Seabird Lodge is a great vacation rental. Especially the main suite upstairs: 180 degree view of the beach, comfortable king size bed, updated private bath, private patio, very roomy, and even includes a small office space. Two comfortable twin bedrooms and two bedrooms with one bed, one a double bed and one a king size bed (listing shows two queen size bedrooms but is apparently incorrect). A large kitchen equipped with plenty of pots, pans and utensils, and a drip coffee pot. Located about 100 yards from the beach which had very few people. All in all a great beach house.
Plenty of space in this home. We were a party of six and everyone had their own beds and bathrooms. There are approx 15 steps from the parking area up to the main level of the house. Then more steps to the second level to huge suite, and 2 BRs with queen bed and 2twins. If anyone has mobility issues, the stair situation is important. There is no A/C so you'll need to rely on open windows at night for cool air. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. There were also some basic condiments that are not advertised as being there. The coffee maker is drip style with cone filters. there were a few but i expect this might be something not always supplied and need to be purchased along with coffee. One garbage bag is supplied as a 'starter', you'd need to buy more. I think this should be a supplied provision by the rental, same as t-paper and paper towels. No tissues, bring your own. Plenty of outdoor chairs for the deck and a picnic table on the deck as well. There WAS a gas grill which was a surprise as we were told there was none. Also some beach toys, shovels, buckets, etc. We enjoyed the close walk to the water (very cold!) and had fun flying kites and strolling the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and a few people walked by the house as it is an access path to the beach. Short ride to some local restaurants and a quick market for supplies that you might have forgotten. We loved our trip to Tillamook and treated ourselves to the ice cream experience! For the size of our party, this was a wonderful choice.
The beach access was the draw and it lived up to our best hopes. Reading the previous reviews, there's an electric tea kettle now.
