This was our first time staying at this location. The beach is very close and Cape Kiwanda is a 5 minute walk down the beach. The house is nice and laid out well for a group, with bedrooms separated and lots of additional sleeping areas. The kitchen is very basic but works well, an extra sink is handy for group food prep.

I'll start with what amenities are/are not provided at this place. Kitchen: full set of pots and pans, Crock Pot, mixing bowls, plenty of silverware, microwave, toaster, garbage disposal, limited selection on cutting knives, strainer, coffee pot, cutting boards, variety of cooking utensils, baking sheets, plenty of plates, bowls and cups. Outside: plenty of deck space, deck chairs, BBQ, picnic table, beach chairs, easily fit 2 SUVs in the driveway. Safety: smoke alarm in each bedroom, CO alarm on each floor, no fire extinguisher, no baby gate for stairs. General: no AC, in-wall heaters, wash sink in laundry room, garage space for storage of big items (surfboards, bikes, etc.), limited number is wash towels and linens. No baby gear (high chair, booster seat). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! If you want to be close to the beach but in a more quiet part, this is the place. Perfect place for our family of 4. Spacious place, decent size kitchen, little bit of a walk to the beach, nice and quiet community. Cool walking paths through the community for walking, running or a quick ride. About 15-20 walk to the big dune. This place was just what we needed for our stay!

This property is located in a quiet area of Pacific City, walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. The deck is wonderful on sunny days. While quiet, the house is older and dingy, had ants, and would greatly benefit from some minor improvements.

We had a nice stay at Tanya’s beach retreat. It was close to the beach as well as town amenities. It has a nice big deck which is probably great when it’s not raining :)
