Dog friendly cottage with amazing ocean views whale watching

The view of the ocean was spectacular. We spotted a few whales from the front window! House is dated but comfortable. Was great to have a dog friendly home.

The only thing I could say I really liked was the possible viewing of whales from the front windows and deck, although it's a very narrow view, due to the houses across the street. There was absolutely no beach access, however. I wish I could have given a better review, but I feel as if I was much overcharged for what I actually received, and this issue has still not been settled to my satisfaction (as of 9-12-25).

I lived the placement. Not entirely sure where the whale watching bench is as advertised. No dishwasher. Washer and Dryer are in the room at the back of the garage, beware of cobwebs and spiders. The code didnt work in the door, so we had to use a physical key. The door will lock behind you, so if you dont have the keys with you you can lock yourself out. House itself is nice and quiet. Fairly good view.

Our family had a great time in Depoe bay while staying here. House was just what we were looking for, with great views and outside seating to enjoy the fresh air.

The big window in living room was great and the antique stove and home features

No ADA access for entry to the unit. My husband cannot climb all of these stairs. We've were not able to use the unit and were not given a refund.
