I travel a lot for work. I regularly stay in 3-4 star hotels, occasionally a 5 star, very infrequently a 2 star. I have a pretty good idea of what is comfy when traveling. My husband has been promising me a weekend away, no work...no (adult) kids...no houseful of rescue dogs. He found this cabin for a quick and easy getaway for us and our paralyzed dachshund. He wanted something unique, off the beaten path, and private - not a bog standard hotel room or suite. This was the perfect spot to just relax. Despite being close to 101, it was very quiet. The loveseat was firm, comfy, and perfect for two to cuddle while watching comfort tv. We found the bed comfortable and we slept very well. The water heater was able to handle us showering one right after the other (we both have long hair and like hot showers). There was enough "stuff" within walking distance to feel like we did "things" without being overwhelmed with too many touristy trap spots. The amenities were perfect for us to just have a few nights to relax and unwind. Situated between Newport and Lincoln City, this cabin offers rural quiet with all of the trappings a short distance away.
