EI09A No Regrets Up

Peaceful, quiet area. Beautiful big porch with plenty of seating to look out over to the ocean. House was clean and easy to access.

This was a great property. One block off the beach. Incredible views, HUGE porch. Very easy to work with booking agent.

We stayed in the upper floor of No Regrets. It’s in a great location..easy walk to the beach. Loved the large deck. Home was comfortable, although an interior staircase to the first floor was steep and unblocked. Not suitable for young children. The master bedroom bed was soft and dipped in the center…would suggest it be replaced. Our family of four and little dog enjoyed a long weekend here.

Beautiful ocean views but the house does have issues. Locks on several doors inside do not work except the master bedroom and the hall bathroom. Locks need to be added to other bedrooms and bathroom especially if someone is changing. Hall bathroom needs updating. Toilet kept running in hall bathroom. Had to flush multiple times to get it to stop running. Grass in the front and back needs to be cut and weed eating is a big issue especially on steps to get to beach access, also fire ants on parts of the driveway/walkway. The grass and weeds are absolutely out of control, almost looks like the home has been abandoned from the outside. Late check out for staying after 10 on the 6th was an option but then taken away when we went to pay to take advantage. That’s probably more of an issue with Vacasa though. Lights are needed outside in front and back. It’s difficult to take your dog out at night because of the lack of lighting. Ceiling fans in the den/living room would be a nice addition as it does get hot quick in there. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be nice also. Entry code was not provided by Vacasa and we had to call the phone number listed on the sign at the end of the driveway to get code. That was after we spent about 45 minutes texting with them and getting nowhere at all. The entry code they provided on the phone was wrong, but they did finally send the correct one via text after an hour of back and forth. The plugs on the top balcony are in terrible shape. One outlet is full of dirt and the other is hanging halfway out of the wall. Had to get our handyman father to get his tools just to get our charger back out of the outlet. We didn’t use either of them again after that fiasco. The ice maker in the freezer also doesn’t work either. Will need to purchase your own bags of ice. The cleaning crew showed up at 9 am when checkout wasn’t until 10am (since they took away our late checkout option at the last minute). We told them we wouldn’t be gone until 10 at our checkout time. Very inconsiderate to have the cleaning crew show up before checkout time has even come and gone! Our dog was outside while we were trying to pack our vehicles and was almost hit by the van since we weren’t expecting anyone to be pulling in so early. They brought their cleaning supplies and sat outside the door before anyone even woke up for the morning so that must have been around 8 am or earlier. The view is beautiful, and with some work this could be a very nice home for vacations. We wouldn’t rent again though unless and until some major improvements have been made. We may try Vacasa again just to give them a second chance to get it right, but if we had another similar experience we would certainly take our business elsewhere altogether. The “vacation specialist” was foreign and the communication was difficult via phone call. I’m sure this is why we had more luck texting, but that still took an hour to get our issue resolved.
