Nice location and large home. I am an employee of Vacasa so please don't take this as criticism just feedback to owner and team. Hairdryer broken. Had to buy one. Heat on hot tub didn't work and picked this home for hot tub. Very disappointed. Pool guy said he put a ticket in to fix. No wine glasses (that's crazy) or pans. Silverware hodgepodge. Not sure how I would cook a turkey and fixings without that. Thank goodness I bought foil pans to help. Which usually is provided when I book a Thanksgiving home. No welcome card or any special touches No rug in LV- very cold and very old and dirty furniture. House is very worn and should be upgraded to rent in the program. Stickers in yard and got all over shoes Not close to beach and listing says it is. It is a short walk to the bay. Any questions feel free to reach out
Location to beach, fully stocked house, washer and dryer, game garage with pool table and basketball game! Kids love it!
The home was clean, and a very nice home.
Overall this is a very nice property. The Vacasa description is a bit vague on details so I will fill in some gaps. There are four bedrooms with the master on the first floor. It has an en-suite bathroom with double sink and double walk-in shower. Through the master bath is a large walk-in closet. Right outside the master bedrooms is a half bathroom. Upstairs are three more bedrooms and they share a single bathroom with double sink and tub/shower. The first floor is tiled while the stairs and 2nd floor are carpeted. The house is situated 3 1/2 blocks to the beach which is a leisurely 15 minute walk. There is no direct car access to the highway from the street the house is located on, but if walking to the beach, you have to take a short sandy path through some brush and trees to get to the main road which you then cross to get to the beach. If walking to the beach, I'd advise taking a wagon to pull beach supplies in. The house is nicely furnished with modern appliances. The stove/oven is gas. The main problem was the dishwasher which is unusable in its current state because the interior racks are extremely rusted and literally falling apart. I hope they are replaced for the next guest as I would hate to think of someone eating from plates washed with so much rust present. Another problem is the vertical blinds that cover the patio door. The wand to close the blinds is missing and the blinds have to remain open permanently which is a big privacy issue. The washer and dryer are big an work well, but the rubber piece inside the washer has black mold which is a health hazard. None of the bedrooms had extra blankets for chilly nights, but the house does have central heating if you can figure out how to use the digital thermostat upstairs. Dining seating is ample; there are five stools at the kitchen counter and a dining table with six chairs. There is also a table for six on the outdoor screened patio. That table is a bit rusted, so you may want to cover with a tablecloth. The hot tub/jacuzzi is great and seats up to 4 people comfortably. It is situated under a tree and leaves drop in occasionally, but they can be picked out easily. It is covered when not in use and the cover will have a lot leaves on it. The garage game room is entertaining too with a full size pool table in great shape, cable TV, 2 fishing rods, several beach chairs/toys, gas grill, and a double hoop mini basketball game. Neighbors are friendly and the area is very quiet. I would definitely stay here again - but only if the dishwasher issue were fixed because washing a whole family's dishes by hand is extremely annoying.
Have no complaints. Place was clean and close to everything we needed.
Hot tub turned out great once the water cleared. Great location. Walk to beach access. Game room in garage is genius! Loved outdoor shower. Living room (couch for 3; 1 swivel chair) only seats 4 people, despite the listing being able to sleep 12. 6 bar stools are not comfortable when needing to relax as a family after dinner etc.
