Close to beach

House was great, management not so much. Be aware if you encounter a problem they will take 24 hours to correct it

This beach house is a great size and has a nice layout with lots of space. We loved having an upper and lower balcony. We made use of some of the family games provided. Located very close to the beach with an easy walk to the walkway to access the beach, but to drive onto the sand you need to go out of the neighborhood and drive down a few blocks to Barrel 80, which doesn't take long. The patio is nice and spacious, but the patio lights were out for our visit. The microwave did not work either, and while we were looking forward to using the nice master bathtub, the stopper did not work, so we didn't get to. We immediately contacted Vacasa and a representative let us know that the local team was notified. We finally heard from someone 2 days later when they texted and asked for a photo of the microwave details, but that was it. Those 3 things did have a small effect on our stay, because we were counting on use of a microwave, and we spent every evening on the main patio, but once the sun went down, we could hardly see each other and couldn't play games out there, and we didn't get to use the master tub. I didn't want to spend my vacation constantly following up with Vacasa, so we just went without those few things. That being said, we overall did have an amazing family vacation at this beach house. There was plenty of space, and it was so wonderful waking up and spending the morning on the upper balcony with ocean views between the houses in front of us. We would absolutely stay here again, but immediately check that the necessary lights and appliances work. There is also a bit of an ant problem, but that seems to be typical of every beach house we've stayed at in Crystal Beach. Bonus: we got lucky and there were no mosquitos! We're used to being eaten alive near the beach.

This house was the cleanest and the nicest I’ve stayed at in Crystal beach so far! Air conditioning is amazing!

Everything was great with the house. Vacasa's customer service is the worst. I called them to ask if we could fit more cars in the driveway. Because if you see the pictures, you can clear see you can fit more than that. Their response was to read the listing verbatim. I asked for more clarification and they proceeded to read the listing verbatim again. I proceeded to ask my second question: do you have early check in? Their response: yes, you are eligible for early check in but we will text you if you can do early check in the same day. My response was: I will take it as a no. Since I'm unavailable to sit down a wait for a text message from you that may or may not come before 4pm. Their response: read the same script they read before. Conclusion: the house was great. No complains from me. Vacasa's customer service is basically people reading from a script unable to answer the most basic questions. I will not use vacasa again and I strongly recommend people to stay away from this company.

The property seemed nice and off. We got there at night time the next morning we smelled an odor we didn’t know where it was coming from was coming from. Until my daughter came running to me and she smelt like Seward I then went and discovered the smell was coming from our yard I called they said they were coming to repair it. All they did was puppet from one end of the yard to the next into the yard so for the whole three days, we smell nothing but sewage anytime we walked outside.
