Quiet, charming cabin that was perfect for our family of four.
Nice location. Well maintained. Steps are awkward due to height of step treads. Hot tub cover was broken so we had to remove/replace manually with very limited access. Overall a nice home.
I’ve stayed in a lot of cabins around Big Bear the last few years and this one is my favorite so far! It’s very close to the lifts, nice, clean, and spacious place, has a very cozy feel to it!
The price is not low for what you get. Honestly, I might consider a cabin for $200 more and get a hotel or a cabin of a higher level.
The only thing I loved about this place were the people I was with. We went into this stay so excited, and unfortunately we left feeling unheard and not appreciated. Unfortunately we experienced a power outage, which understood, is out of the owners control, but we had power Friday night until we went to sleep. At 6 am we woke up with no power. We didn't have power all day Saturday and didn't get turned back on until 9pm(one hour before check out time). The property manager tried to bring us flashlights which we appreciated but somehow went to the wrong house. It was 18 degrees at night and we were left with no hear, no electricity, and no way to use the amenities. Some of us slept in our snow gear. We couldn't use the oven, the heater, lights to play games, tv, or the hot tub. The owner said that he is unable to give us a refund. I booked this spot for the hot tub. It was a awful experience, and absolutely no sympathy from guest services, property manager, or the owner. This is the only way I can be heard apparently. I wish I could attach the messages from Guest Experience department. There were many typos and no understanding of what was going on. They kept saying, refund can take up to 10 business day, but nothing has been approved or transferred. I have tried contacted two different people and the guest services is awful. Do not stay here.
We had a good time..
