Here are step-by-step driving directions from downtown Huntsville to J.D. & Annie S. Hays Nature Preserve:

  • Head east on US-72 E/US-231 S Memorial Parkway.
  • Take the exit for Hobbs Island Road and turn left onto Hobbs Island Road.
  • Continue until you reach Old Highway 431 S.
  • Turn left onto Old Highway 431 S and continue for three miles.
  • The entrance will be on your right.
