• What is a home watch service?

  Home Watch is a visual inspection of your residence to look for obvious issues. Our home watch services consist of weekly, bi-weekly or monthly inspections of the interior and exterior of your home when it is unoccupied. Casago’s primary concern is to ensure our homeowner’s property is secure and safe from issues such as: Vandalism, water leaks, infestations, storm damage, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and heating, mold and other issues. We can also report if your home’s pool or landscaping is having an obvious issue. We build a custom checklist for each property so that you get a full report each time we inspect.

• Who conducts the home watch inspections?

  All of your home watch inspections will be done by our qualified and insured professional maintenance team.

• How often should I have my home inspected?

  Our homeowners have different comfort levels and needs that require varying levels and intervals of care. Our service is personalized to the needs of each home, homeowner, and insurance requirements. Many times, when a concern arises, the sooner we can identify the problem the less expensive and problematic it is. It is always important to catch a small problem before it becomes a large problem.
  
  Please check with your insurance company if you are absent for part of the year as some insurance companies may require inspections of your unoccupied property once or twice a month. It is a wise decision to contact your agent before you make your decision on the frequency of our services.

• Are you available 24/7?

  Yes, our team is always available for emergencies.

• Can you provide me with your fee schedule?

  We base our pricing on your specific needs and the complexity, size, and needs of your home. It is almost impossible to provide an accurate quote without discussing your needs over the phone and walking your property. Without seeing the size and nature of the home, it is difficult to determine which services would best serve our clients’ needs.

• Is Casago licensed and insured?

  Yes, we are licensed and insured.

• How can I be sure my home is being cared for while I am away?

  Casago has built a proprietary software named “Vecinoapp” that sends a custom report of each inspection directly to you. Our GPS technology alerts you each time we arrive to your property. The use of technology gives our homeowners peace of mind that your property is being cared for.

• Can Casago inspect after severe weather events?

  Yes, we can make unscheduled visits especially after wind, rain, hail, snow, or other severe storms. We know firsthand how damaging these events can be to homes. These inspections are conducted with your permission at a discounted rate and are just to ensure that there are no leaks or property damage. If our normal home care inspection is scheduled for the next day we typically do not conduct extra-checks unless requested.

• How do you communicate with us?

  Our inspection reports are sent to our clients via email. If email is not an option, then we can call you. We will always call from the home if something needs your immediate notification.

• How do I pay for your services?

  We will email, or if you request, mail you an invoice at regular intervals. You can mail us a check at that time or make other arrangements if necessary.

• Do I have to pay for your services when I am using the property?

  No. We only charge you when we do an inspection. There are no weekly or monthly fees charged for our services, just a per inspection fee.

• Can you provide referral services if I need work done at my home?

  Yes. We have a very extensive list of qualified licensed contractors and other vendors who can help with most of your needs.
