USS Cavalla
The USS Cavalla, also known as the "Lucky Lady" or "Seawolf", is an attack submarine. Commissioned on February 29, 1944, Cavalla spans 311 ft and 9 in x 27 ft and 3 in. She can fit a crew of up to 6 officers and 54 enlisted. A walk through the submarine will show you how the submariners ate, slept, and worked together. Cavalla officially arrived at Seawolf Park in 1971 - since then there have been strong efforts to preserve her. Every other decade, a full blown restoration effort occurs!
