Located in the tranquil and laid-back community of Groundhog Mountain, this spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bath home blends retro flair with modern comfort. Inside, the main level welcomes you with an open living space featuring a pellet stove, 75 inch smart TV, and plenty of room to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-sized appliances such as a stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, mounted microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster, making it easy to prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a full family dinner. Adjacent to the kitchen is a dining area perfect for gathering over meals, as well as a full bathroom, laundry room, and two convenient bedrooms on this level. The master bedroom features a king bed, a nightstand, a dresser for storage, and a stylish accent wall. The second bedroom on the main level offers a queen bed, nightstand, closet for storage, and its own charming accent wall.

Upstairs, you'll find two more comfortable bedrooms, a second full bathroom, and a cozy lounge area that's perfect for curling up with a good book or enjoying quiet evening chats. One upstairs bedroom has two twin beds and a dresser for storage, while the other includes a full bed, nightstands, a dresser, and an accent chair. Both bathrooms in the home include tub/shower combos, vanities, sinks, and toilets, providing convenience and comfort for all guests.

Step out onto the spacious back deck, where you'll find seating for everyone, a gas grill, and endless mountain and foothill views. Whether you're enjoying a sunny breakfast, sipping wine at sunset, or stargazing late into the night, it's the perfect setting to slow down and savor the moment. And yes, your four-legged friend is welcome to join- for a small additional fee!

Pack light, this home is fully stocked and ready for you to enjoy your stay! Towels, linens, bedding, cookware, cutlery, and glassware are all provided, and we'll supply a few essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and paper towels to help you settle in. Plus, with the convenience of keyless electronic entry, checking in is a breeze.

Guests also have access to community amenities like tennis and basketball courts, perfect for some extra outdoor fun during your stay. While we don't control the availability of these amenities, we hope they add to your experience. There are also plenty of activities and dining options within 30 minutes, including cultural highlights like the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History and the Blue Ridge Music Center, along with outdoor activities at Skyland Lakes Golf Club and Olde Mill Golf Resort.

Please note: this is a non-smoking house, including the balcony. Smoking of any kind will result in fines or eviction. A max of 2 pets are allowed but guests must fill out our pet policy paperwork and pay the pet fee prior to being allowed entry with pets! There is a doorbell camera on the property for security purposes! The minimum age to book is 21, and the maximum occupancy is 8 guests. Unfortunately, failure to comply with these basic house rules will result in additional charges or possible eviction from the property.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it's part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!
