Meet the Memphis, Birmingham, and Huntsville Vacation Rental Family!
Eric Montesi, his wife Elizabeth, and their young family are excited about fostering strong relationships with homeowners and guests eager to experience Southern hospitality. In each of these vibrant cities, Eric and his family enjoy the numerous opportunities to connect people with the past while also highlighting the rich food and music scenes that are very much part of the communities.
We caught up with Eric recently to learn more about what drew him into the vacation rental industry.
Casago: What was your background before deciding to get into the vacation rental industry?
Before getting into the vacation rental industry, I served as a C-suite executive across various industries, where I gained an extensive background in finance and business leadership. Within numerous roles, including that as CFO at Centric Realty, I worked in leadership while contributing to company growth and success. These experiences included PWR Technologies, Celebrity Healthcare, and Mid-South Education, where I further honed my skills in operations, portfolio management, and strategic decision-making.
In 2018, I launched Summit Holdings. Through this, I’ve invested and built businesses in professional and home services, information technology, and real estate. This ultimately paved the way for venturing into vacation rentals.
Casago: Why did you decide to get into the vacation rental industry?
I transitioned into the vacation rental industry three years ago, fueled by a passion for real estate and service. I pay close attention to making sure guests can look forward to a “home away from home” atmosphere. This helps me succeed in what I enjoy most about hosting and managing properties, which is the opportunity to create memorable, stress-free experiences.

Beyond professional endeavors, I want to make sure I remain actively involved within communities. This includes participating in the local economics club, as well as various charitable organizations and business leadership groups.
