Overall it was a good stay. For the most part. Really wished it had a view from the master bed room. The master bed was really hard and was uncomfortable to sleep on. The upstairs bedroom with bunk beds was extremely cold. You could feel the air coming through windows. It was very cold upstairs, especially at night time. We had the heater running and it wouldn’t reach the vents upstairs which made it hot downstairs. (The upstairs vents were on the floor) Using the master bedroom restroom in the night was extremely cold!! On the second night, the hot water ran out while my little ones were in shower. Took a couple hours to get warm again. We asked to extend our trip a day, but the price for one day seemed to have a new cleaning fee (total 800+ for 1 night so didn’t extend. We also asked if we could do a late check out at 11:00am since no one was checking in that day(I saw on calendar ) and was told no. We’ve never had to check out of a rented home so early. But I can say the customer service was well above 100%. They answered all my questions and concerns within a few minutes!! The service was impeccable!
The open floor plan was great for our group. We could all be around each other without it feeling crowded but also we could be doing our own thing. There is no AC so when we first got there it was warm and took a while to cool off. We opened all the windows to allow airflow. There are a couple fans so we used those for the upstairs and downstairs to again, create more airflow which helped. At night it was still warm upstairs but with the fans going and a couple windows open, it cooled off during the night. There were a couple spiders upstairs and a few ants in the kitchen, which is a little to be expected with the mountains, so luckily we didn’t find any more but be aware before getting in the beds and stuff. The check in process could be smoother. We would receive messages from about 3 or 4 different numbers, each with different information so I had to scroll back and forth to find which one had the Wi-Fi and which one had the access code and so on. Usually houses are not equipped with a lot of kitchen supplies, but luckily this one had nearly everything we needed and more. The spices on the counter are expired so be aware of that. There was one of the mattresses on the bunks that was a little hard, but other than that the beds were comfortable. Again, overall it was a nice stay and worked really well for our group but there could be some improvement, hence the 4 stars.
The cabin was spacious, clean, and very hospitable! It had everything we needed and the location was excellent - just a 10 min walk from Snow Summit. Even better, the driveway was large enough to hold 4 cars comfortably which befits a house of this size. Only thing was that the dishwasher was busted (or appeared broken) which we ended up using as a drying rack which still worked okay. Loved the place and would be happy to go back!
The house is so beautiful, extremely well maintained and very spacious with lots of nice views. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. If you think it’s not worth it, I’m stating this is a place you will always want to keep in your memories. We love the home&neighbors. It’s so close to everything definitely worth it all!
Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed for cooking. Very spacious for our party. Comfortable bedding and great sized bathrooms.
Loved this house and very home feeling.
