Cactus Casita at St Phillips

Great location, safe area, close to restaurants and bike path. Reverse osmosis filter is a nice bonus, and we liked the in-unit laundry. King bed is a firm memory foam if you like that, however, there was a "crackly" plastic mattress cover under the sheet, which was a bit noisy for me. Check in was easy, with prompt communication with local VACASA rep. Sound isolation from unit above is not very good, but was not really a problem.

I loved everything about this condo. Would stay there again.

The location of this home is great!

Promises made and broken. Rude owner behavior. Good review or an overheated renter on a 1500 char limit rant. You decide: Positives: Location- perfect. Towels- pristine. Bed- comfy. Laundry room- well equipped. Knives- fantastic. Layout good. Kitchen ok. Eat out every night, you'll be fine. Pre-check in communication ok. Negatives: Few instructions in condo or on app. ZERO parking info - DO NOT USE covered spaces. Barky dog next door. It happens everywhere, but be warned. Frig- broken drawers/shelves. Lazy susan- broken. You can hardly get to the pans. Never again: No AC on a 100 degree day. Claimed it would be fixed by arrival. Nope. Beds made, towels clean, but crumbs & grit everywhere, as if it's not been vacuumed or dusted. Many lightbulbs out (and out of reach). Vacasa claimed someone would be out the next day for the AC. Nope. Next day we happen to be coming in just as the owner, next door, walks by. He says nothing. Nt a word! As a 20 year VRBO owner, I am incredulous. If you are near, you greet renters and make sure they are situated. WTH! By Monday night we have AC. We are promised compensation. The week goes by with never a word from the owners or managers. We’ve managed a vacation rental for 20 years. I’m appalled at the neglect. Never again.

We loved the location of this unit. Close to the trail, shops, grocery stores, restaurants and the convenience was nice. We booked the unit for a month and were disappointed in the amenities in the unit. Meager cookware, flatware, skimpy amount of towels, no extra sheets or towels for the hot tub or pool. After numerous complaints we were given extra bath towels. The keys to the gate and pool didn't work and after more complaints and 3 days we did receive ones that fit. The hot tub quick halfway through our stay and even after numerous calls it wasn't fixed before we left. The unit has amble space for 2 people, the bed was comfortable and layout inside was nice. It could get a higher rating if the amenities were better.
