Sunrise Windmill

Our family spent five nights at Sunrise Windmill. Vacasa has a great checkin process. The arrival instructions including address, WiFi and entry code were delivered via text the day before. Once we arrived at the house, we found it to be very clean and consistent with the photos. The home is nicely decorated and generally well appointed. We paid for the pool to be heated and it was the perfect temperature. Upon arrival we did have a couple of issues but Vacasa was very responsive and had them fixed within 24 hours. We had a nice stay and would stay at Sunrise Windmill again, but there are a couple of things to note before booking. As outlined upfront, the owners have several restrictions on the property. The no parties/events rule is fairly common and understandable as this home is in a family oriented neighborhood, not a resort community. The strict no “visitors” and street parking seemed excessive. Also, while it was clear from the property description that garage parking was not available at this property, there were several other areas of the home that were restricted/locked. The kitchen pantry was locked which limited food storage and the master bedroom closet was also locked which didn’t provide hanging space for clothes in the master (we used the closet space in a secondary bedroom). These things would have been more problematic for a longer stay. It should also be disclosed that the owners have an automatic pool vacuum which guests are prohibited from “touching” or removing. This made it difficult for the kids to navigate/play in the pool since it was right in the middle. It did keep the pool clean! All-in-all, great house and we had a great visit, just be aware of the restrictions before booking.

Super cute house! Very clean and well kept. It was well stocked, except we wished there were some blankets to cuddle with while watching movies at night. Otherwise, very happy with our stay!

Super house- all as advertised, comfortable and new appliances. Pool was spectacular and backyard a nice oasis.
