Cute place. It had everything we needed. It was close to town, and easy in/out. Lots of room for plenty of people.
The property is located in a great location , close to amenities (dollar general within 2 mins , Aldi 6 mins and Walmart 10 mins) and also to the national park . The property had useful touches which helped us since we had kids . (high chair , potty stools , kids play room with toys etc) . Everything worked and we enjoyed our stay . Host was very responsive Will return !
Couldn't get into the rental. Took over 30 minutes to get anyone on the phone. We were stranded outside for 90 minutes for a rude maintenance guy to let us in. No one came to fix the lock and we were not provided a way to secure the house if we left it. We wasted a lot of our vacation time stressed and waiting for a solution that was never provided. The combination of mismanagement by Vacasa and property manager makes me not want to recommend this property to anyone.
I liked how it gave us the feeling of like we just bought the house
The home is nothing special, but it's also nothing too bad. The good: It's close to Joshua Tree National Park, the inside is clean, there's a good amount of room and it's not too expensive compared to other properties. The bad: Beds were not super comfortable imo. There was a lot of trash floating around outside that we walked around and picked up. The backyard table with the umbrella pictured in the listing did not have the umbrella so it was very sunny sitting outside (which was fine but would've liked the option of shade). The neighbor's were on loud dirt bikes doing wheelies and being loud riding around the property which was a little unnerving. Overall if you're going to Joshua Tree park most of the time and just looking for a place to crash and keep your stuff nearby while you explore the town, this is a good option
