Bright resort condo with pool access, cozy patio, plus a washer/dryer

We stay at Sugar Beach regularly because of its affordability. Simply put, you get what you pay for. Here are things we found lacking in this condo in comparison to other inexpensive condos in the Sugar Beach complex: — Downstairs bathroom door doesn’t latch therefore door lock is useless — Balcony door doesn’t lock — Mold in ventilation system — Upstairs bed mattress sinks toward the middle — No comforter or blanket on upstairs bed — Couch/couch bed is worn out and needs new mattress — Carpet is stained — Dust flapping from popcorn ceiling upstairs around the fan — Lack of dishes for cooking (had to purchase a pizza pan) — Only one dish towel — Wrong remote for downstairs TV so it would only turn on/off; could have potentially worked for the dvd player * We did contact services about the mold in vents. They came and cleaned the vents that day. No one could tell us what type of mold it was.

The room needed major upgrades, the vent in the upstairs bathroom was covered in black mold as well as the floor behind the toilet upstairs. The bed was so uncomfortable we tried to sleep on the pull out couch downstairs and it was worse than the bed upstairs. With that being said, the room was in a great location.

Very pleasant stay. A cozy little condominium with all the basic amenities. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a nice little vacation on the Gulf. I will certainly look to book it again in the future.
