We left early and are waiting for a full refund. Big problems: sewage smell from the bathroom that got worse throughout the time we were there (and filled the whole tiny house when we tried the fan), hot tub that took 15 hours to heat (so we couldn't use it the first - only - night we were there), flashing green/red/blue lights in the hot tub that came in the window while we tried to sleep, a shower that flooded the bathroom leaving water that wouldn't go down the drain in the bathroom, blood/brown stains on the comforter & sheets, and a step in the bathroom in a property promoted as having no steps in the VBRO listing. Gross factor: I'm 5'3" — so small that I wear jeans from the kids' department. And I couldn't turn around in the shower (5-minute shower b/c of flooding issue) without hitting the curtain (ick) or the wall. I can't imagine a normal-sized adult showering in it! A full kitchen was promoted...alas, it was too dark to cook in there at night and lacked the following (we were going to cook dinner but went out instead becuase of all this): no sponge for washing dishes (which they did bring), coffee filters (they broght these), coffee cups to go with the coffee maker that was a 12-cup one (only tiny espresso cups), cheese grater, measuring cups/spoons, any sharp knives, wine bottle opener (yet there were wine glasses), and salt & pepper (OK - may be "extra" but is typically at places like this). One plastic cooking utensil was flaking plastic. Tags were still on the furniture and at least the blender - covering the power cord, so it was not used or washed. Oddly, there was a used-up candle in the bathroom (perhaps b/c they know about the sewer smell?), but there were no matches. We spent the whole time we were there constantly texting and communicating issues, which ruined our romantic getaway. We had hoped to unplug and had paid extra for a place with a hot tub, but we weren't able to use it the first night (and left the second evening before bed - leaving a night early). We ended up paying for a meal in town b/c of the kitchen issues and the wet bathroom — we actually would have stayed the second night if the water cleared while we were at dinner with the drain in the bathroom floor, but the floor was tilted in a way that kept all the water in the opposite corner of the drain. We sent videos and pictures the whole time. They responded, but besides a few small things, nothing was (or maybe could be?) fixed.

This is perfect for a secluded place to sleep. The small footprint was more than enough for 2. Hot tub needed to be hot the first night but we got in late so it wasn’t a deal breaker. I’d stay again
