Cosy close to everything and wildlife had deer and elk every day
The cabin was very comfortable. It was off the beaten path but close enough to have easy access to Rocky Mountain national Park and also all of the fun places in Estes Park. There was a great walking/ biking trail that we were able to access very easily. Had a great time!
The veiw
Grandma Dagmar’s cute little landscapes add some badly needed charm but the broken furniture and a myriad of personal effects from a woman who has long since passed make you feel like Goldilocks breaking into the home of the 3 bears. Downright creepy!
Long story short....a heat wave hit the area and it was over 85 degrees. There is no a/c in this cabin. If you're a parent, you understand that just won't work for a 6 month old infant. I was recommended to "open some windows" when asked if they could help me out. We went to a hotel within 2 hours of arriving and soaked in sweat. Not to mention, one of our phone chargers overheated and does not work anymore.
