Rating
2 bedrooms and TV's in all rooms was very nice. Having a washer and dryer was great. Pool and beach were fantastic and the view was amazing.
Beautiful beach view, nice area, and relaxed town ;-)
The location is great. 100 yards from the beach. Great views from the deck and the constant sound of the waves. Not near anything, which was great for us. About one mile to the national seashore and it's beautiful beaches. The condo itself is, as others said, dated. Bare bones, which is fine for us. Some pans, utensils, but random. Missing things like a cookie sheet. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the condo, it might be a problem. We were out all day and used it mostly for just sleeping. The weather was cool enough that we had the sliders open until the last day, which was hot. That's when we discovered the AC was busted. I looked at the unit, and the filter was encased in dirt. This was April 2025 and the filter had the date "August 2024" written on it. An AC filter in Florida on it's 8th month? That's a problem, particularly after another review from 2024 said the AC was broken and they were moved to another unit. Obviously, the AC has been a problem for some time. It was our last night there....I contacted Vacasa at about 5 PM so that it could be fixed for the next person. They offered to have an AC tech come out that night (maybe they could have found someone, I'm not so sure) and said I would receive "compensation" for the AC being busted. Never received a thing. Great location, that's about it.
48 steps one way, filthy, outdated, no upkeep, trim and such falling off, no place to put clothing except closet with maybe 10 hangers. Kids running around in parking area with no supervision. Had to clean before I could even think about enjoying a “vacation”. It is NOT oceanfront as advertised. There is a road and public parking between the rental and the beach.
Living furniture is from the 70s as well as the non working washer and working dryer. Kitchen lacked quite a few necessities. If the owner would invest about $2k in new living furniture, W/D and kitchen necessities (Walmart!) we would be regular renters. Close to our favorite JBS Fish Camp (walking distance). Other units looked to be far more desirable meaning this unit has great potential!
