I was so happy that I'd booked this cozy, comfortable cabin! It was just perfect! I went to take photos in GSMNP, and I didn't even mind that it rained for several days of my stay, because it was so nice to come back to the house, enjoy the electric fireplace, enjoy the peaceful neighborhood, and let the dogs play in the great fenced yard! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, the house was very roomy, and I loved seeing birds, flowers, and trees all around. This is definitely the quiet side of the Smokies! The house is very close to Townsend's stores and restaurants but still out in the country. It's an easy and scenic drive to Cades Cove and many hiking trails and scenic drives. I can't wait to come back - the house is a great place to stay!

This cabin was everything that we needed for our 3 grandchildren to have an amazing Fall Break in Townsend! The cousins could all sleep in one room with the bunks. The outdoor facilities for this cabin are top notch! Gas grill as well as charcoal, huge deck, another covered deck with bar, enclosed patio with pool table and corn hole games, back yard that was fenced with a fire pit that provided so much fun for our grandkids…and (of course) S’more!!! It is close to very fun activities in Townsend: hiking, bike rental, caves, restaurants, grocery, etc. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for actually preparing meals there-which we did. Only one shower was a bit of a challenge getting all 5 people ready to go somewhere…. Thank you for a very nice stay. We enjoyed the cabin AND Townsend!!!

This cabin was located in a quiet, dark area which was perfect for looking at the night sky. It was nice having access to a kitchen to make homemade meals and a washer/dryer to do laundry. The screen porch is a nice touch and is so peaceful when it rains. The bathrooms were unique, a bedroom had an open toilet/sink and shower and the main bathroom had a soaker tub with a handheld attachment to use when bathing.
