The privacy
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet town. Hot tub worked well. Place was clean and easy to access. Central to most locations in townsend.
It was a great experience the cabin was clean, cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The animal life was a great extra perk.
We loved the cabin. The wood and decor were great. Don’t expect any extras that feel like home. Bring everything with you. You’ll need coffee filters and coffee, sugar, salt pepper, other seasonings, trash bags, ziplocks, hand soap, bottled water, wood for the fireplace, etc. Bring extra blankets too. The mini split AC doesn’t cool the 2nd floor well. Be aware of that if you are hot at night. The bathroom sink was clogged but we got it fixed while we were there. There is no WiFi, which we definitely didn’t miss. The hot tub was set at 98 degrees so it wasn’t hot enough to use. The bath tub is dated and dirty “looking”. So not appealing for a bath. However, the cabin is adorably decorated. The lot is private and well maintained. The parking space could be reconfigured. We didn’t see any bears or other wildlife.
Love the front porch and rocking chairs. Good location for enjoying Townsend and national park. Close to bike/walking path.
Very clean loved the cabin and saw plenty of bear
