It was not too frilly, not too basic. Comfortable all around. Plenty of space. Beautiful views. Parking is not for the weak of heart and ability. These are the TN hills you know?
We towed our boat from Florida to stay in this house for a week. It was amazing! I would definitely stay there again! There boat dock was awesome and was great for docking the boat and doing cannon balls off of!
There is not much we loved about this place. The steps leading down to the dock we're dangerous and way more than what was listed on the description, guessing they didn't count the steps from the basement to the top floor or the concrete steps to the dock? The a/c was so hard to control because the owner was obnoxious and kept changing the temperature to 82, even after we complained about it & we're lied to that they weren't doing that. The last day we were there it wasn't bad, every other day was 85 when we got home and we went to bed hot. To top it all off we lost water in the bunk house and my husband had to fix it, which they did compensate, but still ridiculous. The property manager didn't even know the key codes of the lock box for the room under the bunk house, we had to keep trying codes. And my sister got eaten up by bed bugs or mites from the loft in the bunk house. Overall, just a bad experience and will never rent from Vacasa again if this is the treatment we get. Not impressed whatsoever.
Plenty of space for 8 adults and 2 small kids right on the lake. Large, well equipped kitchen. The house is clean but with all the surrounding trees, there are lots of spiders. The bunkhouse has one bedroom plus a loft with 2 beds…not for small children! The ladder to the loft is steep! Two spacious furnished decks. Large dock with 2 lifts on a beautiful part of the lake. Lots of precarious steps down to the dock. Overall, we like this house and had a great week on Norris Lake. Just wish we had been better prepared for the bunkhouse layout and trek to the lake.
It’s a beautiful, clean home. The drive in was a little bit intense. I was glad we arrived while it was still light outside. We did wish that there was more comfortable seating on the main floor to enjoy the big windows and sunlight. Since we had a larger group, sitting in the lower level basement where there was a couch felt a little intrusive in their space. The guest house was really cute, however there was no hot water to use that shower. It is on the water but be ready to work! Lots of steps from the house to the dock. Over all a nice stay.
Loved everything about this place! Lake is perfect!
