What's nearby: Beyond dipping your toes into the invigorating Pacific waters, Rockaway Beach is also in a great location to explore more of the Oregon Coast Just a little over one mile away is Lake Lytle, a lovely spot for fishing. Around town are plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and other businesses. You can also take a visit to Oswald West State Park just over 14 miles away. Just 28 miles away is Tillamook with its famous bay and Cape Meares Lighthouse. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen Dogs are welcome for an additional fee.

Very quiet area and although it is in a neighborhood, it feels very secluded. Sitting on the deck or by the firepit feels like you are in a treehouse. While the view of the ocean is very limited, you can hear it. I enjoyed sitting outside and reading my book to the sound of the waves.

Super comfortable beds, couches, and overall just a pleasant home. Tucked away in the woods, super private and off the beaten path, but can still hear the sound of the ocean waves!

I highly recommend staying in Rockaway - the local restaurants were great. I favorite was the Beach Bakeshop. The house was a nice central location for the things we wanted to do on the Oregon coast. We will be back
