Dog friendly home across from the beach with grill deck and amazing ocean views

We very much enjoyed staying at Elbow’s Inn. It was a great place for a family get together. It was an affordable place to stay across the ally/ street from the beach in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the living room and main bedroom were beautiful. The house is very basic and worn but comfortable and was clean and well stocked with kitchen items and towels. The internet was not operational which was unfortunate for those in our party who were working. The local Vacasa agent was responsive in getting back with us about this but it was simply not available. Check-in was easy. The house was as described. The deck was a great place to picnic and eat crab. We would definitely stay again. Thank-you for the opportunity.

It is the perfect family, pet friendly beach cabin! Plenty of room, lovely view and great location.

The lived-in character of Elbow's Inn was just the kind of place we were looking for for our family vacation. Being north of Rockaway Beach also meant we could enjoy a quieter stretch of beach, but it was fun when the train went by in the evening! We made some fun meals in the kitchen and the bedrooms were all cozy. From Elbow's Inn, we made trips out to Tillamook, Bay City, Garibaldi, Manzanita, and Wheeler, all presenting their unique charms and plenty of exceptional seafood. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quaint spot to rest and relax.

Okay folks, let's break this down. We loved this rental so much! Very short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach (just across the little road in front of the cottage. Rockaway is a very cute little town. The deck: great size, beautiful view, has a grill, bench and picnic table. We brought our beach chairs and Sat comfortably out there. Kitchen: well stocked and clean. Dining room/living room: great table for playing games or eating. Couches were roomy and comfortable. Small TV and wood burning stove (which we didn't use). Bathrooms: clean, good size. The towels were luxurious and smelled wonderful. Friends, if you like strong water pressure, this is the place for you! I came out every day with a brand new skin! We were also pleasantly surprised with having shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the showers. Downstairs bathroom is more rustic, the upstairs bathroom has been updated. Bedrooms: clean, comfortable beds. The middle bedroom is the biggest with the best view and you can hear the ocean and waves with the windows open. Dreamy. Not very many electrical outlets, so if you have things that plug in or charge, bring a couple 6 way outlets. The carpet is very stained. That's the only issue we had with the cottage. It didn't smell bad, just had so many stains. Rockaway is an adorable town. Visit R & R Coffee for great coffee and super great baristas! We also loved Grumpy's bakery counter for amazing pastries in the morning. Sand Dollar restaurant was delicious and has a great view.
