2 Story Dog Friendly Aparthotel with Deck Gas Fireplace Ocean Views Beach Access

We were disappointed with this rental facility. The major complaint was the apparent lack of maintenance. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable mattresses and needed to be replaced. There were 3 chairs on the deck, one of which had only 3 legs instead of 4 and the other 2 chairs had broken arms - we had Vacasa remove all 3 of these dangerous chairs. Some of the carpet had folds in it, and some doors didn't close properly. The outside of the buildings needed cleaning and painting. We had to call Vacasa to bring enough towels for everyone. There were no bath mats. We didn't find any recycling containers. There was simply a lack of attention to detail. We saw a "for sale" sign on the rental house and wondered if the owner had just stopped doing maintenance because it was up for sale.

The view from outside was the only plus with this place ! We couldn't even enjoy it, because every chair was broken ! This place reminds me of a bait and switch.The owner is struggling and this place feels like it's going or already is in foreclosure !

We had a large group and used all the buildings. There was plenty of room for all 14 of us. Keeping in mind that it’s an older building that gets an incredible amount of use, we felt it fit our needs perfectly and we truly enjoyed ourselves. It’s right across the street from the sea wall and the shops are all right there. We never used our car while we were there. We saw whales from the kitchen and the loft. It’s in the perfect location. Our group had an amazing time and we will return. Thank you

Overall, we enjoyed the property. Not fancy, but comfortable, liked the hot tub and the crows nest upstairs bedroom with private bath and a nice view. I don’t wanna come across too picky so the only negative I will mention came down to customer service. Check-in should’ve been 4 PM per the contract but it almost the last minute. I was notified that that would not be 6 PM due to delay with the cleaners. Since there wasn’t much I could do to fix that. I requested late check out on the day of departure – denied! I feel that there should’ve been some kind of compensation whether discount or just extend the hours on the end. I thought that was a no-brainer.

This home and the cabins were definitely nice for our large family group! It is an older home with a unique layout that allowed everyone to have their own space and privacy and yet come together for meals and games. The view is nice and the ocean can be seen from several rooms! There is car noise but if you are used to the city it's not a big deal. Some things to note--the home is older, the furniture and carpet is stained, kitchen is NOT well stocked so bring the things you will need to cook with besides basic seasonings. There is a limited supply of knives and flatware...basic pots and pans and a warped white cutting mat. The coffee maker was broken and not resolved during our stay. The hot tub was also not clean or usable upon arrival and the duration of our visit. We appreciated the convenient location and quick walk to the shops! :)

Small family space but three newer cabins are awesome.
