The view here is absolutely amazing, and the big open living room, dining room, and kitchen made it such a great place to hang out. The deck was definitely a highlight too — perfect spot to relax and take it all in. There are a few things that could make the stay even better. The rugs felt pretty worn, and it would be nice to have curtains for a little more privacy. Some clearer instructions for check-in/check-out and how everything works around the house and how to enjoy the property would’ve been really helpful. The place could also use a little extra attention with maintenance and cleaning — some of the light switches were loose, the bathroom sink wiggled and was unstable, the shower leaked, and the shower curtain had some mold. I also learned while staying that the property is currently for sale, and a broker with clients came by to tour the outside. They didn’t ask to come inside the house, but it would have been helpful if that detail had been mentioned in the listing. Overall, we had a good time and the location and view can’t be beat, but with a few updates, better communication, and a bit more care, this place could be truly fantastic.
An unsurpassed view on an amazing coastline. Walk along the bluff. Enjoy an amazing sunset! Tons of room!! Take kindling and dry wood if you want to use the fireplace. Bring warm slippers for the tile floors. Make sure to request enough seating for the large wrap-a-round deck. Enjoy the views from all the wide windows. Plenty of room for everyone.
Prime reason for renting this location. Fire pit was a plus as it was a bit chilly during our visit in March. Great location and great view. Would not bring young children.
Enjoyed this house, especially the large deck.
I loved that this second time, that a house I rented from Vacasa, was canceled days before scheduled trip. But they were able to but me up at the main house versus the cottage I rented for the same amount of days. I agreed, once I received new booking I noticed it was a day short. We had bought tickets for the skunk train non refundable, for a Friday night excursion, but now had to check out? When I asked if I was going to be reimbursed the lost day they said no, because the main house cost more. How is that my fault? I am not happy that this is the second time a house was canceled on me. The first time it was less than 24 hours notice and we were already halfway there. They had nothing to offer us but a refund that time. As far as the house, it was a beautiful property. Needs some clean up but a great location. We were the only ones there at the time. If all three homes are rented at the same time by different folks it would not be very private at all.
The home had everything we needed especially in the kitchen as we cooked every day.
